About the Trainer
Lucy Farmer
Lucy Farmer is an artist and maker living in Birmingham. She honed her early career skills as a retail buyer for Parisian department store and then began her own storefront retail business selling art supplies. After a stint as a VP of Marketing for an ad agency, Lucy now enjoys helping others learn the ropes of wholesale and retail business, all while nurturing her creative talents through a variety of maker activities. Lucy is always learning a new skill and enjoys showing others how to do the same. Her passion for teaching others prompted her to form online creative courses that are featured on her on site and other large creative networks. She also hosts workshops at her studio and other locations & retreats. Her unique home studio allows her to integrate her creative endeavors with her home life.
Lucy loves to travel around the world learning about different cultures and finding art, old and new. She also has Vitiligo, a skin condition that removed the pigment and leaves white patches. She describes her unique skin as “shifting clouds” that constantly changes as the Vitiligo spreads…her own personal artwork that she carries around wherever she goes!
